Five generations later, the mosaic of plots remains unchanged
In 1871, the Nicolas family acquired La Conseillante, and created the company
Nicolas Frères" trading company. Louis Nicolas takes over the management of
property and carries out drainage work on the plots.
In 1971, Francis and his cousin Bernard Nicolas created a new
modern winery, which allows for more efficient wine-making
precise. La Conseil ante's reputation goes global
Bertrand and Jean-Valmy Nicolas, the fifth generation,
perpetuate history. They continue to pursue a policy
excellence and direct the estate towards a viticulture
always due responsible and reasoned. The culture of
terroir and an eye for detail led them in 2012 to the
construction of a plot winery.
