Château Pape Clément

The first harvests were carried out in 1252: at At the time, it was called Domaine de la Mothe. In 1306, a few days before the death of Gaillard de Goth, Clement V receives the Pessac estate from his brother giving its name to the Château. At the turn of the 80s Bernard Magrez, entrepreneur wine enthusiast, takes over the reins of the Château and gives this grand cru classé an unprecedented international aura.
