Called Hostein in the 18th century, this large vineyard was later bought by the Gorce family, and was producing one of the Médoc's most famous wines long before the 1855 classification. The Lurton family has been at the helm of the estate for four generations, as devoted guardians who continue to to ensure that the estate flourishes and produces wines of the highest quality.
