In the early 20th century, the wine changed its name from "Château Ségur de Garamey" to "Château Phélan Ségur". The owners are
successively the Delon family, then from 1985 the Gardinier family
(Xavier Gardinier is a former director of Lanson and Pommery). In the
1990, the three sons Thierry, Stéphane and Laurent took over the management of the company.
domain to Véronique Dausse. In 2003, the château's wine was classified
among the "exceptional" crus bourgeois.
